This Pixel Blackletter Typeface is the result of Marie Lusa’s Editorial Design Class at ECAL MATD. The Brief was to draw inspiration from the Crosstitch tradition specifically from the Engadin region. During my research I came across some blackletter patterns and really liked then aesthetic combination of these ‘pixelated’ blackletter typefaces, which is something i had not really come across before.

In addition to the typeface, a set of special characters were drawn, which are inspired by heraldic animals.
