Maril was created in the optical size class at ECAL Master Type Design.

As the Name suggests, earlier sketches of the typeface drew inspiration from J.R.R. Tolkiens Middle Earth, which the specimen also revolves around. Texts  and article names are from the LOTR fandom site. 

Maril comes in Text and Display styles, as well as a variable font.
